Back at you ARRC hope you had a great holiday, I'm kind of happy to see the 4th also and celebrate it by going detecting or doing my own thing. It was my 30yr anniversary of being sober and I view life a whole lot differently today than when I woke up that day.

Welp yesterday (Sunday) was a strange one ... and painful one...

I actually was injured yesterday...
First time in many years...
And definitely took a "hit"...
My girl says it is a result of me "doing things too fast"...
When actually it was the result of...
Doing things sorta fast :P... and was a freak accident...

I tripped over a dog fence carrying a load and went straight though a glass screen door...
Face first...
Luckily I went though the screen part and not the glass...
The glass just happened to be "open" and in the "up position"...
Aluminum cut me pretty badly.
Destroyed the screen door bending the sides and parts as well.
SO...
You could say...
I ate a screen door.

It was a serious fall that could have been ALOT worse...
Got a nice gash... that needed a few stiches...
and was cut and scraped up pretty bad...

Neighbors are stunned I treated myself... they were trying to get me into the car to go to hospital... heh.
It will now be another one of the many scars life has bestowed me.

My neck and lower back took a serious racking...
And inside of my arms were badly scraped and cut...
I stuck my arms out to brace myself ...
but the screen part gave and through it I went.
I landed face first on the bottom part of the sharp aluminum ridge of the door...
Which did not "give" at all...
I hit hard.

My girl was nearby but did not really know what had happened ...
till I turned around with blood gushing...
Then she freaked and ran to neighbors for help.

I rebuilt the door... to somewhat normal... can hardly tell (heh)
I am a different story.
You can def tell.

But I heal well. :P

Ouch! Totally understandable on how something like that can happen as I've walked into the screened doors before bending the frame work leaving an imprint of my nose in the screen, luckily it was just a large bruise to the pride and a messed up door.
