Nothing anymore. Retired from education and gave everything away so the younger folks can enjoy. Too crippled to get out anyway or walk much and besides, the BFRO has a couple of bigfoot reports near here. Too darn old to run from hairy monsters these days...

with the invention of cell phones and tablets i now keep ebooks. i enjoy basic geology, rock identification, gold recovery techniques, old maps, folk lore of the area, links to places like the USGS and Library of Congress. I dont care for Garmin but like Google earth along with several other mapping systems. Taking pictures, video, and publishing is also nice too. having google and wiki in my pocket lets me research on the fly. plus i am always on tnet and tapatalk that way. I multitask so watching the history channel, reading the forums on my laptop, and playing a game on my tablet while talking or texting on my cell phone is normal. But yes i have actual books, but they seem incomplete when I can reach out with the touch of a screen. save a tree kill a fish.

the Majority of mine is Local Histories
and Personal Research.

The older I get the less I have.

I am slowly getting rid of my Local Histories to my Nephew as I find the more I read them,
The more I realize History hasn't changed .

So they have become Dust Collectors

History books, my old college books (the good ones/ones that actually teach you something: Physics, Chemistry, Limnology, etc.), conservative talk show hosts books: Michael Savage, Mark Levin..., field guides, bibles & other Christian books, and of course my old collection of Dungeons and Dragons manuals.
