Oh, I have found nuggets, years ago in AZ.
I also do art work and was amazed at the prices gold laced quartz nuggets bring, SO, I decided to try my hand at 'MAKING' them for art displays.
I start with a flint nugget from my farm. I embellish it along natural lines or cracks in the surface with 23kt gold. then I mount it on a black walnut plack.
I cut that tree down 40 years ago and had it cut up at the local mill. I left the circular saw marks on top. It's about 6" square. PM me for details.
