Traded in my F5 for a Minelab Exterra 705 gold. Got a heavy duty carrying case and headphones. Paid $160 difference. Hope I got a good deal.

Yes I think you did ok in the trade, especially if the ML has warranty left. The 6" digger coil is a must have coil for trashy places. I also see where NEL has developed coils that can run all 3 frequencies. Also remember the coil that is on the 705 Gold is NOT waterproof (go figure that one). It is the high frequency coil and is good for jewelry and relic hunting.

Had not known of any modern machines
That havent got waterproof coil
