Looks very highly mineralized, crush a piece and pan it out make sure you basically make it powder/dust! That is great looking quartz, make sure you keep quite and below the radar also find out who has mineral rights on that land....IMO

i crushed these pieces off of a 150 lb boulder i rolled to my house haha. it took a few hours to move it. the center is almost unbreakable and has many tooth like crevices. It breaks into smaller boulders and they are quite hefty.

I agree to crush and pan it, but all that pretty shiny stuff is just mica. Never hurts to grind and pan though. Ya never know!

You could take a piece to a pawn shop and they could test it. Then you can sell that little piece to them and save the lot.

How is a pawn shop going to test his specimen? The only thing a pawn shop tests for is gold purity with an acid or electronic tester. For this test, you need to have gold first. This rock has no visible gold. Like I said, all that purty shiny stuff is only mica. You could take it to an assayer, but do you really want to spend a minimum of $100 for an assay to tell you there is no gold? Just grind it up and pan it. That will tell you if there is something to go after.

Here is some quartz with mica that still has a lot of the mica still attached.

You meant "Pawn Stars" because they know everything or get the dude to tell them. :)
