I believe the D.B. Cooper mystery has been solved, there was a documentary I saw that explained he was a flight attendant.

If I remember right, a room mate came forward after DB's death, and had pictures of DB with the brief case of cash.

If I remember right, it was accepted as the truth.......I'm fairly sure....:icon_scratch:

There have been several theories about D.B. Cooper, but certainly not solved.

Hmmmmm............. He could be alive8-):laughing7:

by their age guesses he would be a minimum of 88 (if he was 40)
and maybe even over a hundred if early 50's :tongue3:

Sort of like Hunting Hitler.
We all know he's hiding on an island with Kennedy living the high Life.

in all seriousness I hope D.B. survived the Jump, & is still living Comfortably.
But unfortunately/ or should I say fortunately, I don't think this one will ever be solved

The D.B Cooper case has pretty much been solved. Yeah, a bundle of cash was found by a boy on one of the rivers. Brad Metzlers show did more in one episode than the FBI did in all the time they investigated it. They went out to his old house that is now a print shop and found a place that sure looks like a stash spot in the ceiling. Any of you like me that specialize in building searches would be jumping off their seats! Honestly, I think the lead investigator didn't want it solved. He's retired but still making $$ for appearances & interviews. If you've followed the case, seen all the investigative documentaries you'll see the only thing left is a signed confession. Also note, the family didn't start voicing their thoughts UNTIL after the statute had expired. I'm sure they were scared they'd be implicated.

If he didn't survive the jump, where's the body? Even if he landed in a lake, his body would eventually surface, due to bloating from the gases formed from decomposition.

I believed that he died when he jump out of the plane. Not being nasty, I am sure that wild animals ate him.

Not to mention how much the different "experts" have made doing interviews etc etc. Heard the printing company that is in his old house made more from the production company than they make in 3 months worth of print jobs. This was told to me, but I can't say for sure, you all know how second & third hand info is. :laughing7:

I'll bet the family will start doing more & more interviews for a fee, write a few books, sign a few autographs.

On the drowned theory. He would've not necessarily floated if he still had the money & jump gear on him. If the canopy got caught on something on the bottom, he'd have been crab bait. Not all DBs (dead bodies) bloat & float. colder water = more time to decompose.
