Just having a little fun with this.. Need a kick in the pants to start my engine...

Haven't been out metal detecting for a couple of weeks due to work and family obligations. I have clearance to metal detect for eight hours on Sunday 6/10 rain or shine. I'll be out at a number of parks and schools in Southern California swingin' my thing.

I will start my timer at 6AM and end at 2PM sharply. All you have do is provide your best guess on how many US coins I will recover during this period. Reply with your total count and the forumite who selects the closest estimate to the actual count will receive one 1957B Graham-Dillon $1 Silver Certificate (as pictured) in average circulated condition in the postage paid envelope for FREE with no strings attached. Ties will go to the first response received to this post.

As an added bonus.. If you guess the exact number of US coins (not face value) I will include an additional Silver certificate. This should give you some extra motivation! Remember ties go to the first response received.

Will post results and pictures of my finds on Sunday evening by (9PM PST) and announce the winner! Good Luck!

Ready Set Go...
