Shoulders?

I hunted a very small town by the name of Irma a while back .....Hunted the shoulders of the roads near the church,school and railroad depot and found alot of older stuff plus wheats ,a few tokens and an old silver wedding band. So its there....just depends on how much foot traffic that your moms road got.

My response is fairly concise...


Observe the age of the trees lining the road. Is it an old road? Highly trafficked? These are some of the questions you should consider.

Thank you all for your advice. The town is about 100 years old and I believe got alot of foot traffic in its hey day. You've convinced me to go for it! I'll let you know how it turns out.

Definitely hunt them. Back in the day, they parked their horse and buggies on them and jumped down spilling change. I've found alot there. Good luck.

Found a "42"walking liberty half next to a shoulder.If the city would've cleaned out the ditch it would've been lost.Definetly check the shoulder..jmoho......rh
