( so sue me)

So what could someone expect to get?

A few dried up soybeans and a busted Chinese detector hardly seems worth the trouble...

In my opinion as a real newbie, I really like the posts of what is it? Or the recent post of "If you dig everything, this is what you get"

It gives me an idea of what I'm getting into. I appreciate all posts!
As far as md pirates (or jerks) the larger the group, the more chance of getting a few, but good people far outnumber the jerks.

I do have a newbie question though , if he finds 3 more horseshoes in his top secret horseshoe hot spot, does he get the rest of the horse or something? Just wandering

"he" here...Limitool... Are you referring to MY horseshoe hot spot? I'll let ya in on something special. I think I've discovered a secret horse burial ridge and I know how they did it. They buried there damn horses upside down with the shoes still attached!!! If you had to dig one out you'd know what I mean. You'd think they're still attached. But the 3 horseshoes your referencing are the remaining 3 Golden Horseshoes left. GA Boy snuck in and found one (see his avatar). He's taunting me with it. I've been digging for years trying to find just one off the fabled "Golden Sho'ed Horse" of TN.

I don't remember ever seeing someone ask where they hunt on Tnet. I also look at pics that are posted, and I wouldn't have a clue where they were dug, nor do I care. I enjoy seeing the finds. Gotta :icon_scratch: on this one.

Nice first post: Welcome!

Actually I have asked.
To no avail. :P
BUT...
I assure you... Any location is OUR secret. :P

Actually...
If you look real close...
Those are not prairie dogs... they are humans... from a movie called "holes". :)

Okay, that will be my project this weekend. I'll see if I can nail them to the wall so they all point up. Going to take a lot of nails to pull this one off!

AARC,

Yep I spent a lot of time on a farm when I was a kid and pointed up is for good luck.

Regards + HH

Bill

Tim...
Horseshoes should be hung the other way... for good luck... so "they" say...
Hung like those they loose it.

This is what I heard over the years.

Ehhh disregard the "panel flip" ...

I just enlarged your photo and saw they are just hung by a single nail...
No problem there.
Just redo.
At least now you have a "hole" as a "guide" to the spacing now. :)

OR....
Next post...

Here is a good idea on hanging shoes...

Get some Hemp twine... will look cool... hang em like pics.

THEN... you will be able to REUSE all the same nail holes.
Without the addition of more holes.

***AARC decides to go into interior decorating***

Think I will start with living room "dungeon" look to get my name out there... then go for "asylum" kitchen look..
Followed by the "outhouse" look... for... well... you know... "P
