I'm new and need a mentor

Hey I'm new to this in fact I'm new to the whole idea of treasure hunting I've always had an interest and I'm looking for a mentor I'm young and have a lot to learn.

Where are you, what kind of a detector do you have, why type of hunting are you interested in?

Have you looked into any clubs near you?

I do not currently have a detector the first I ever used was a Minelab X-Terra 305 I'm into relic hunting and ghost towns also spark an interest. I'm based in the UK and would love to travel.

Thank you, and i have been looking into it but I'm looking for something to actually pursue and put my time into I'm hoping to find someone to join/guide me I'm the direction that I need to go.

Perhaps investigate local or nearest detecting clubs in your area.
There one could get information on laws regarding detecting ,methods of recoveries and permissions ect..
