folks i plan on giving this shadow box to a farmer as a thank you for allowing me to detect his field
it contains 4 coins from the civil war period, a bullet scabbard tip for a bayonet and a key for a padlock
oh and a royal navy button that would of come from the second burning of kingston, ny in 1812
any comments or thoughts?

Looks good ! Are you going to put a little dossier label(s) on there ? Like either below each item naming object and age/date, etc... Or a singular dossier label at the bottom with something like "civil war artifacts from the site of such & such" .

I gotta mark this thread! In the future, whenever the topic comes up of "how much" to offer someone who had given you permission to hunt their land, this is an extremely awesome idea!! VERY well done!

there is a sheet on the back in cased with plastic that tell them what they are and other information
