I vaguely remember someone telling me that when you change from the stock coil to 5X8, or vice versa, you have to re calibrate or something when you change coils.

Any help on that?

Thanks:thumbsup:
After new coil is on hold down power button for 5 seconds to do a reset.

I have always done that but Saturday in the middle of the hunt I changed coils and forgot, but didn't have any problems. BUT,,, it's so easy to do so why chance it. Probably good to do it once in awhile wether you change the coil or not. It's like rebooting.

chances are that the 5x8 will stay on your machine.I cant bring myself to remove my 5x8...works awsome and totally changes the balance and weight of the machine.I have noted no downside at all.:occasion14:
