Quite often, we report to our friends here on Tnet various injuries, insect stings, dog bites, and the like.
Many times, pictures accompany the trauma!
We are able to offer a pat on the back, a get well soon, and even a "wow that sucks dude" ...and we feel comfort knowing that others have suffered a similar fate, and the booboo will heal.

This thread's purpose is to document the pain, embarrassment, or sheer stupidity that leads you to post here.

These are to be your injuries, or a hunting buddy, or anyone close to you. Stories accompanying the event are encouraged, so long as they don't make the Mods upset. Please don't post stock pics of gory stuff from Google...keep it real!

If in the past you have posted a pic of an injury, post here it here again!

I had a toenail fungus that I was able to manage for a while, but I couldn't take it anymore. This weekend it got infected, I was in sheer agony. I called up my buddy, who is a podiatrist....problem solved.

6 months or so, it will grow back, hopefully not as ugly as before....

Dave,

That toe of yours is pretty hard to beat as painful, both physically and emotionally!

I think I'll come in again on page 2!

That toe is Deep!

Damn Dave.... If I'd have know I/we/us needed to "document" our booboos I could have taken over this thread... QUICKLY!

I'll be 61 soon and almost all my worse injury's we self inflicted. This includes ATV F'up's, fights from the band/bar days and sports injuries... all self inflicted. I'm not making light of you toe fungus problem at all... BUT, I'd trade ya your toe fungus for some of the broken bones and injuries I've experienced from some of my STUPID decisions.

Chiggers!!! I hate CHIGGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ticks too!!!

Not really an injury....I tripped over a stupid ******* cat and fell down steps! Does that count? :laughing7: Nothing on my body looks like your toe though at the moment!! :laughing7:

No real injuries at the moment, but we started going out digging and exploring again, so.....I'm sure cuts from sharp quartz are around the bend!:laughing7: She gets excited when digging and gets them bad at times!

That doesn't look good.
Have you tried putting a mud pack on that toe??
It may not help with your next "HAPPY DANCE" but the new toenail should come in blemish free. lol

I'm right with you. I decided to just start over on my fungus problem in the backyard with some a needle nose.

Think I'm right up there with you! Funniest things my grand father would say to me. Son, you don't own hands! Those are hunks of scar tissue hangin off your arms. Then "Glad you hit yourself in the head! Anywhere else and you would of been hurt.

I like how you cleaned it up with maggots. Great little helpers, those things. :)

Personally, I have a corneal transplant and an intraocular lens implant. (my lens is plexiglass/acrylic). Stuck a pencil in my eye when I was 5. Wonderful experience that. 12 major operatorations, including the pre-ops, transplant, and subsequent cleanup. That's my story.

My cornea is from a little girl, though, (one of the reasons for so many surgeries... I was waiting for an appropriately aged donor)... Basically, I see the world through the eye of a woman. I have to say. It's a little blurry. read into that what you will. :)

What no pictures? You must compete with pictures.
