I have a Bedouin Silver ring that I have owned for over 45 years.

I acquired it when I lived on the Island of Bahrain in the early 1970s.

I am the only owner I know of...back when I was a kid it was shiny and totally unique.
Now it's dull like it's oxidized.

How can I clean this low grade Silver?

Thank you so much for your help.

You can try rubbing it with a baking soda. Just dampen a soft cloth with water and then dip it into baking soda and rub on your jewelry. If it is still dark and dull after that, then you can try a stronger method. Do not use this method though if the jewelry has stones, as it can damage them. Lay a piece of tin foil in a small bowl, add your item and cover with baking soda. Pour boiling water over the baking soda and then let it sit till the water cools. Rinse the jewelry and then rub with a soft cloth.

You can try rubbing your ring with toothpaste.
Toothpaste, not gel. Clean of the paste with a paper towel. It should shine right up.
