Got my first ring today. But not a one and done day, I got my first necklace today as well. The ring has Thailand 925 YMA stamped on it. The necklace has Italy PGDA 925 stamped on the clasp.

The reason for Chugs's remark is that there is a lot of falsely marked jewelry with the "Italy" stamp on. Mostly fake gold, but also some fake silver. Check it with a magnet to see if it is attracted. Any kind of pull and it's not silver. You can also find out by using tin foil and baking sofa. Lay the tin foil in a small bowl, add your necklace, cover it with baking soda and then pour boiling water over it. If you start to get a rotten egg smell it is most likely silver. Let the water cool, take out your necklace and wipe it with a soft cloth and it should clean up nicely. Congrats on a two silver day.

Good job, Pathfinder100. I knew it was just a matter of time for that 1st ring. You just needed the right location and some swingin' action..............
