Hi, the King Cobra was my third high end MD purchase, prior to a White's 6000 Di S3, which was traded in for an Eagle II. Today was the day that I believe I have finally the ability to dig more gold rings and a lot less pull tabs and foil. I tested a thin 10K gold ring and got a signal. Then I ran the coil over an empty pack of cigarettes and the foil was cleanly rejected. I showed this to my wife and, she immediately wants to start travelling and detecting with this detector as soon as the weather is better.

Would some one offer me a million Dollars for this detector? Na, just kidding this machine is priceless to me.

I remember the Gold Mountain detectors. Didn't an employee of Garrett leave to start that product line?

I do not know. I have an Euro Ace, which a very good detector. The Ace is digital and the Cobra is analog. That is all I need to know.
