Was fishing from shore the day the Mayflower landed which completely ruined my fishing hole...decided then to take up detecting! Actually, turned 65 last year and started detecting in '77.

Will be 61 on the 21st. I got my first detector for Christmas in 1969 when I was 13 years old. It was a WWII surplus mine sweeper with the huge wooden coil or paddle as they were referred to back then. That thing was bigger than I was. I would find my first relic ever with this. A piece of blown Hotchkiss Artillery Shell. I was hooked. Still am.

51 in two weeks. Always had an interest since a friend in grade school had one. Bought my first detector 9 years ago.

46. been detecting since I was 10 when my uncle got me started. First detector was a White's 2db I thought was like magic. Never grew out of my fascination with detecting. Been hooked non stop ever since.

Almost. I'm 22 and make 34,000$ annually. Almost fit haha
