    average age of detectorist

What is the average age of us here on the forum?

Is detecting in the too hard basket for the computer generation?

Going on 31. Been at it since I was 25. I had a detector in the 90s but was too young to explore on my own. Used it on family vacations to the beach.

Got my first detector in 1970 when I was 20.
Do the math. We didn't have too many computers back then. At least not the ones you could carry around with you. lol
