    skippy, when I see llleeennngggtthhhyy stuff like that, purporting to prove a treasure legend, I'm reminded of similar stuff that purports to prove Bigfoot or UFO's, or any conspiracy. They too can be lllleeennnggggttthhhyy. And when you finish watching a documentary or reading a book on such things, various such historical footnotes can be spun together in such a way, that the reader/viewer can be brought to believe in just about anything . Unicorns, Loch Ness monsters, etc.....

    I still can't understand why anybody like them would announce a find like that to the world. If ever I found cans of coins like them or 2 bags of gold coins NEVER would I tell the world.

    Yea ya did... it was a long thread here on Tnet guy. They found OLD cans of gold coins walking on their property by a tree in CA.

    Humm the Philippines video, fake or renactment? When they pick up the gold bar one handed and when they are fliping it over on the paper it seems to be a little to easy?
