New to the forum from Harrisburg, PA

    Hi
I'm Hoss from Harrisburg, PA. I've been detecting off and on for about 20 years. I've had several Whites detectors with my current detector being a 6000 XL PRO. I'm considering getting a second detector. Does anyone know how the Whites MX5 compares to the 6000 XL PRO? Looking for something that is a little lighter and compact than the 6000 to carry with me in my truck. I've seen some reviews that it is a decent machine.
    Thanks in advance
    Hoss

    Hello Hoss,
Welcome to the forum! the MX5 isn't bad from what i hear but it was recently discontinued so it may not be the best choice. I hear good things about the MX sport . I'm hoping to pick one of those up myself.

Don't know which is "lighter" or "more able", but do know that the 6000 XL pro is a good all around time-proven popular machine. And just popping on to say "welcome".
