hi , have recently bought a laser trident 2 or Tesoro vaquero ,detector as I was after a good reasonably priced one for all round land detecting, as I have a cs 4 pi for the beach.Last night I decided to go to the beach and try out the new trident on the dry sand, was all fine,,while there I wandered onto the wet sand,and to my surprise, it was fine,and I went down to the water and even waded in the shallows with no crazy signals found some coins pull tabs etc and other bits but not iron as it was discriminated out,...this was a great bonus for me as I can use it on the beach wet and dry, on really low tide sessions tho will prob use the 4pi but laser trident 2 what a great machine.......settings i had it on were auto ground balance,sensitivity max (believe it or not) and discrim on foil .... cheers very happy ::g
