This is dead in the path of Irma, you'll be able to watch this disaster building as long as the camera holds out. You can bet all of those sailboats are already heading for the graveyard. Note that the waves are already cresting the seawall and the storm isn't even all that close yet. Last I heard the waves around the center of the eye were reaching 60 feet! This will decrease near shore due to lack of water but the storm surge from this storm is going to be massive....

I've been checking back this morning, the water level/surge is slowly rising. This morning there was a good two feet of seawall, I'm guessing less then a foot now. In a few more hours the water will breach and I fully expect to see those sailboats start breaking free by morning.

Looks like those sailboats in St Croix weathered it pretty well. Good ground tackle (and no powerboaters with flimsy tackle broke loose and ran them down). ;-)

It looks like a kid to me too.
I want to ask if a person can be that stupid, but i can't say for sure its a kid.

This is going to be a bad one, i hope it dissipates.

The St. Croix feed....they just escaped Irma and now they have another one breathing down their back. That same feed could get interesting again.....
