My sister is staying, though she did move from the east coast to a room in Orlando. At any rate, at least for a time we'll be able to see Irma's approach on the Keys. Not really a better scenario at this point for any part of Florida, seems that storm is destined to ravage quite a bit of it regardless when or how it turns.

Too bad they did not have a camera with audio set up at Sloppy Joe's in the early 80's when that big mouth Parrot hung out in the Palm Tree beside the bar and called everyone nasty names. They asked us (myself and my friend, Roy Ridgeway) to catch the Parrot but before were able to make it there, some young guy tried but hit an electrical wire and electrocuted himself. By the time we were able to go, the City Counsel had already passed an Ordinance prohibiting anyone from catching the Parrots, Cockatoos and other rare or valuable birds.

I bet more Spanish coins will wash up on the beaches and into sand dunes on Upper Matecumbe and the Northeast end of Lower Matecumbe. Some may even get blown across into the Gulf.
