Monster 1000, because it will find tiny flakes your TDI will walk right over. :skullflag:

I have a Whites TDI SL and I think it’s a pretty awesome machine but I won a Minelab 1000 in a raffle and if I was just hunting small Gold which one should I keep?

Minelab doesn't stand behind there products I wouldn't take a minelab for free. Sell me your hid. Best detector out there. Pm me if you get rid of whites

Two completely different machines. One a VLF, and the other a PI. The 1000 will find much smaller gold. The TDI will operate in mineralized zones where the 1000 is unusable. There's really no way to compare them. Be like comparing a screwdriver to a crescent wrench.

Minelabs stands behind their warranty and have even covered repairs only a couple months out of warranty in the past. I know, I currently own 8 Minelabs and have own Minelabs for over 10 years. Also have owned Whites, Fisher, Tesoro and Troy. I bought my first Minelab because my Whites beach hunter kept leaking on me, dealer took it in on trade on a Minelab Sovereign GT .
