Had the older brother give me a large tbs of 15+yr old Buckley's mixture that had been sitting out in a outside porch window in the sun. Tasted terrible but it worked, knocked the cough right down.

Effective relief of coughs and congestion due to colds, minor bronchial irritations, laryngitis, hoarseness, croupy cough and minor irritations due to smoking, dust or air pollution.Available in 100mL, 200 mL and 350 mL bottles.
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING.

To be taken every 2 - 3 hours as required. Adults and children over 12 years old: 1 to 2 teaspoons (5 to 10 mL). Do not exceed 5 doses daily. If preferred, mix with equal parts honey.

Each teaspoonful (5 mL) contains: 153 mg ammonium carbonate, 267 mg potassium bicarbonate, 22 mg menthol, and 2.2 mg camphor.[h=2]Non-Medicinal Ingredients:[/h]
Butylparaben, Canada balsam, carrageenan, glycerin, pine needle oil, propylparaben, sodium cyclamate, tincture of capsicum and water.[h=2]Caution:[/h]
Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Consult a doctor if underlying condition requires continued use for more than 7 days, if cough worsens, persists for more than a week or is accompanied by too much phlegm (mucus), a high fever, rash or persistent headache. Individuals with heart, lung, kidney or liver disease, asthma, the elderly, pregnant women and nursing mothers, or persons on other medication should take only after consultation with a doctor. In the case of accidental overdose, contact a doctor or Poison Control Centre immediately, even if there are no symptoms. Store at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children. Fascinating.
It says 7.5 grains of cannabis per a fluid oz. Thats like half a gram, but reefer is a solid and this medicine is a liquid. Is the weed just floating around like the hops in that homemade beer my neighbor brews?
I don't think my mom lets me take medicine with stuff floating in it.
