On my way out of a small shopping center parking lot, I spotted a nicely dressed woman bending over a pile of leaves. She had a dog on a leash, so I thought she was scooping the poop, but as I drew closer I realized she was quickly and methodically going through the leaf pile with a pair of salad tongs! It was a big pile of leaves the lot maintenance people must've blown into a corner by the dumpsters. It occurred to me that that's a great way to score paper money! Hmm, she's probably claimed that lot, I'll have to check the cleaning schedule of my other local shopping center lots!
