I'm very thankful your son noticed that POS before they went in and that you got your stuff back.

I'm Really Glad you all are ok... I'd say I'm sorry about your hand but I imagine it's one of those 'Hurts So Good' type of things...as it should be.

Time to arm the wife.Things could of ended very differently.Security or no security.Your best security is on your own hip

Here we go again. This guy turns every thread into a "you need a gun" thread. Dude, spend more time metal detecting and less time obsessing over guns. Geez!

I live 500 feet from the RI State Police barracks. Only a fool would try to rob anyone in my neighborhood.

Try shooting someone that's holding a gun to your head. I hope that you're very fast and very accurate. I can't think of too many people that could pull that off from a cold start.

Thanks for all the replies. Later that evening I took the head of security and gift. I had to shake his left hand....right was very swollen from where the thief *fell on it....over and over. I can't write too much but a suitable tickle happened. Quite correct that his only regret was getting caught!

And his report read. As I was escorting the arrestee down the path back to my unit, the arrestee kept loosing his balance sliding in the mud causing the multiple bruises and contusions about his head and shoulders. While trying to prevent the arrestee from falling and further injuring himself I was holding the handcuff chain. The arrestee fell and exerted enough force to dislocate both shoulders.....

Why do you think a jailer takes their shoes & belt? Took almost 10 years for our department to figure out slippery socks & highly polished floors lead to multiple bruises to the head & head trauma . :laughing7: And BTW the camera doesn't cover the corner by the drunk tank. :laughing7: To prevent cuts & bruises on your knuckles, four rolls of toilet paper on a baton will allow you to turn someone's brain into silly putty & not leave a mark or bruise on either one of you. The things they don't teach in training today........

Seems that some would rely on other men to protect them with their guns. No self relience whatsoever and somewhat dishonest in my opinion. You say you don't need a gun but you need a cop to bring his gun.

That's what you do in a civilized society. Sorry, boys, but the Old West days are long gone.

I seriously doubt that this guy has ever killed anyone. Those teardrops mean different things to different people. Probably just means he was someone's gal pal in prison! LOL!

Can you see the 25 tattoo above left eye?

Anyway, Im not here to argue. We have a gun thread.

If you are saying that you would be glad for your wife and kids to return home to this person waiting inside your house then good for you !
Maybe your wife can chime in here?
