Hunted two local parks. Lots of clad as you can see.
The 1st park started to get busy so I head off to a old ball
Field by the old town fair ground.
I have a theory that the park was part of the fair grounds at least use for parking and such.

Well I hit a nice super high signal. I had to dig it.
Even tho I have been digging the same signal and pulling
Can slaw.

Well under a ton of roots and a glimpse of what I thought was CAN Slaw. I jamed the digger in and flipped out the
Half....

After the heart started again I was able to
Actually see what it was my first Walking lib
Half dollar. I did scratch the back. IMG_20180728_153136.jpg

I was so excited I had to leave. Well that and it started to rain
So less that an hour ago she was still playing hide and seek
With us. Hehe

I win....

Ohhh heck it stopped raining! Gotta go!!! Hehe

Ran back out after the rain. Not much luck

I rehit the area and found these two.
One ofcoures a surface find. The other
Was 6 -8 inches it is heavy as heck. I can not find threads in the hole. So mystery item
Or maybe a civil war hand grenade ??? Lol IMG_20180728_184053.jpg

One more of the mystery object.
No threads and a smaller hole.
It is heavy sorry no small scale.
Not sure of the metal type.
But it is not really magnetic.
My earth magnet tries to hold it
But can't.

So an thought's?

Congrats on the walker! I know the feeling. Maybe the mystery object is a knob from a manual shifter, or tractor shifter/lever knob?

Not sure what the thing is. I dout its a shifter knob.
But I am no expert. It is at least a couple pounds.
I would think it is way to heavy or at least over kill for a shifter knob.

I am heading back out today. Gonna start at my ring park if its not to busy. Then back to the walker park. I might hit some little play grounds parks in between. I found two small parks on a 1900 map that still are their. HH all
