It is not safe to go to Bolivia for treasure hunting. Most foreigh countries are not safe for treasure hunters.

I'm sure it was Perfectly safe for them.
Besides probably 50 to 100 Crew Members.
They probably also had Local Military or Police Backup
supplied by the Government for Security, Like they did Last Season.

A Billion Dollar Treasure ? Worth it to Bolivia to Back Them.

I'm sure though if They find it, They will Immediately be Escorted out of Bolivia
at the Government Orders.
Kick in the Pants Supplied Free of Charge !

I agree !
Was like a fill in space episode, before the Cave reveal.
Just to stretch things out. Makes me think The cave thing will turn out to be a bust Too :(

So far my DVR has Stopped recording 5 Minutes or so Before the ending of each episode.
I really should Adjust, But wonder if it's a Waste of Time,
Since Next week they will Probably start with Those 5 Minutes

yeah you better adjust it.Maybe to record just the last 5 minutes :)LOL
One good thing about recording it is you can fast-forward the commercial .Which is a good 20 minutes in a 1 hr show :(

I Hate the Editors !

I'd rather see the show the Way most You Tube posters
(Who Don't Shake & Pan Wildly of course) make their Videos...

Those truck drivers are INSAINE.... I cannot believe they were willing to drive over that broken road with that much weight... Life must be pretty cheap in Bolivia. They are obviously paying people a lot of money by local standards... But.... Pretty Scary..

I really am interested in this show. They have to stretch it out to recoup the cost of the whole search in case they do not find any treasure..

Still they seem to be on a positive path. It was also pretty interesting how they showed with their modern equipment that the previous searchers were looking in the wrong place. ie no underground cavities on that other hill.

I really am impressed with how difficult the whole thing is. If there were easy treasures left to find we would all be rich….

I get the bad feeling that if they find treasure, they'll never keep any of it. It will be confiscated and they'll be told to take the next flight out of there. Just my take on it...

I Don't remember the Country, But Remember those 2 Bumbling Guys that were Prospecting for Gold in South or Central America ? spent their time trying to Buy gold instead.
they had them Held Up. That didn't work.
Then they Canceled their Permits & had arrest Warrants put out on them :laughing7:
If I remember Correctly They Hopped a plane out of the Country faster then the road runner :laughing9:

I tend to agree... At best they will get some type of "Finders fee".. I cannot imagine that the Bolivian government would let such significant historical artifacts just be taken from the country.

I imagine they already have some type of agreement with the government that says what they can keep and what they cannot.

Those Jesuits were are pretty adventurous lot. Living in that isolated place 300 years ago must of been pretty lonely..

It does seem much more likely that they would of buried treasure under there fortress rather then on a mountain that had no protection. Even if as they claim on the show the builders were buried with the treasure some must of escaped and would know its location. No one just buries two billion dollars of treasure out where it is not protected when hundreds of people must of been involved in the endeavor.

There does seem to be a few pretty obvious inconsistencies in their story/plot though. For example why did they need to come in on the donkeys if that road existed...

Still I am looking forward to the next episode and do hope they find treasure....

I Haven't Payed Close enough Attention To
Where they came up with the "two billion dollars"
Is that its Value Back Then ?
Or could it be perhaps $1000.00 in Weight in Gold.
Exaggerated to two billion because of the word Jesuit
& it's on a TV Show ?

Sort of like "seven must die"

I think they meant based on weight of gold that is "allegedly" hidden. Maybe it comes from that document they quote..

I don't pay that much attention to Talk.
It's not like I'm researching Jesuits. Or places I'll never go.
When it comes to TV, I just like the Physical Hunt, the Scenery & Finds

I wonder if Taffi, Kim, et al have a financial interest? I am glad no one pushed down on the plunger. It would have been easy to booby trap it and would have ended the show quickly.
