    Can anyone identify this signature?

Bought this vase yesterday, look closely to see where it was found I forgot to remove the tag.
It's about 12" tall. I would be much obliged if anyone here can ID the signature. Thanks!Click image for larger version.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

That won't work. It was written with a marker before firing.

I believe it's Walter-something. Looks like Dartmoorl or -moad, maybe. That's a very messy signature. Weird last name.

Looks like Walter Marwood. My Google Fu skills found people named Walter Marwood. Oddly enough, the "Marwood" name is also associated with pottery vases.
