At a junk shop I bought a rusty old beer can for $1. When I got home I researched it and found out that it is a rare can from the mid 1930's. I decided to put it up on eBay, and it sold for $45 (other have sold for around $100, in better condition though). I guess I will have to look more carefully at the cans I have dug, for all I know one of those flat top or cone top cans in decent shape that I dug could be worth a decent amount of money

Any flat top or cone top cans? Apparently those seem to be worth the most to collectors.

Maybe I should try selling some of the ones I have dug!

I remember my dad’s friend had a 25’ long wall floor to ceiling stacked with good as new beer cans, some unopened. Some dug some traded and bought. Probably much more than tens of thousands of dollars worth.

I had a small collection of cans and came home one day and found all the snap tops gone...... the mother in law decided to liberate them for some type of fund raiser at the senior center...DOH

The old cone tops, and punch top beer cans can be worth a pretty penny now. I collected beer cans back in the early 70's and looking at Creskol's picture reminded me of my collection. I had a number of the cans he has pictured in my collection.
