Can anyone help me interpret these signs?

It doesn’t appear that those stones have been in situ at that location for 75 yrs. Just an observation based solely on your photographs.

on first glance, you will not have indications that they are yamashita markers/ or japanese made rock markers. markers left by the japanese are unmistakable that they really look as man-made. in those pictures, there is a big doubt that those rocks are man-made. for me, there is a big possibility that those are natural.
