    I’ve yet to find one, but in the early days of the gold rush, businesses stamped their names into gold coins. Some were recovered on the SS Republic shipwreck

    apparently the Majority of the gold rush Gold Coins have been Lost , Hidden and/or Melted in their early years

    Very interesting read, I have never even heard of those silver dollars with stickers, so I tried to find out what they look like. Here's some examples that look very close to the ones mentioned in the newspaper.
