I see the trap has been set but will keep my statement short and simple;
Bob Lee: stood for states rights and fought for states who endorsed and practiced slavery.
Jeff Davis: stood for states rights and endorsed slavery.
These guys may have been geniuses in their own right but can we really separate them from their deeds? My answer is no.
