Coil cord. Wrap over, under or straight with a tight hank or coil at the top?

Do what it says in your owner's manual.

Do NOT do it like the FBI.

Ok ok, my way is the correct way, keep cord straight up shaft to the metal shaft, zip tie or velcro wrap as needed with small semi loose bit at coil for when the coil gets moved it doesn't rip out cord$$$, then wrap the cord around shaft up to head as to reach it perfectly, screw in, then sip tie/wrap with velcro straps. The end. 1547862126491973747546.jpg
Really, the most important thing is to not have a loose floppy cord by coil setting it off, it has metal in wires, next is to leave a little wiggle room for cord to prevent damage.

Loose spiral lower and then tighter above the shaft collar. All held snug with rubber straps.

Doesn't matter as long as you are breathing in and out while routing it not out and in.

Just leave some slack where the cable attaches to the coil and the control box, no tension pulling on the connectors.

All my machines that do not have internal cable routes are done the way "Slowtaknow" has it done! This method works very well for hunting in the brush.

The Deus has the best solution...

I've just always done an even candy cane wrap all the way up.
