I hear Australia is nice, except for every single critter being venomous. :tard:

Well, I guess the rabbits are not poisonous but they were imported. Plus everything is metric except the beer. It only comes in quarts, or so my cousin tells me.[/QUOTE

Not true!!! The bunny’s bite, and the bullies in Australia use their poo in there diabolical scheme and misrepresent them as “ vegetarian Cocoa Puffs”. So BWD, I would recommend relocating to the tri-state area, the middle of nowhere or God’s country, this way you don’t get tide down with zip codes, and you’re not forced to cheer on a subpar football team. Gnome sayin’

I’ve seen some of the spreads you’ve had, and hell yea, I’d love to knock down some SouthernStyleFixins...
My wife and I are truly blessed, we are in a great place.
This next chapter of our lives will be our happily ever after.

I tried desperately to convince her we should move to Indiana, to be closer to Jeff Gordon.
Sadly, she feels that he might not be able to handle me finding treasures in his stomping grounds.
Figure I’m digging up gold in his hood, while he is knocking on her door asking for permission.

Think.... Think about what you just said......

Great News!
We accepted an offer, looking like 6 weeks or so from now for closing.
Lots of hoops and hurdles ahead, based on contingencies, employment, inspections, yadayadayada
If all goes well, our happily ever after will begin.
Apprehensive, excited, nervous, overwhelmed, yeah, all that and more.

7 years ago I left New Hampshire and headed South. Got as far as the North East Tennessee mountains and decided this is a great place to grow old. Have you decided on where you're going yet ?

I would assume that you two have already researched where you would decide to move to, since your selling the property? We have lots of "real" Mountains here in Montana, but you probably aren't too accustomed to the cold winters. Maybe Arizona, or New Mexico would be a likable destination? Lots of history in those areas to explore. Good Luck to where ever you two decide to venture to.

ROFLMAO!!! I see where this is headed. One of these days in the near future, You’re going to wake up and Dave will be having his household good unloaded right in your neighborhood to show you who the new boss of the swingers will be in your town! :BangHead:

Cleaver ploy, not saying where he’s moving to. Then again...Just maybe he’s bought a new class A Motorhome and will travel the country showing everyone how it’s supposed to be done!:headbang:

I’ve been thinking about this news and now know what’s going on.
That isn’t Dave’s house at all. He’s the kind of guy who lives in a camper in someone’s back yard.
He can’t go anywhere because it’s not roadworthy.
He just copied someone’s home ad so we would all think highly of him.

Not working dave

So we had our inspection Thursday..... ugh
Not major stuff, so that’s good.
Roof, windows, foundation, plumbing, electrical..... all good.
However....
I knew we had termites, but I told them to hide for a few hours....but one of those bugs, probably named Jeff, decided to flag down the inspector and introduce him to his friends.
So gotta treat a few places, and repair a few spots. Doesn’t look like we need to tent, so hopefully won’t be too expensive.
Also, need to update 2 plugs in the kitchen to gfi, and repair 10 feet of wood rot on the fascia on the side of the house, no big deal.
Oh, and the buyer doesn’t want our washer and dryer, fine with us, we’ll take them with us, or sell them. Wish he didn’t want the fridge, oh well.
Finally, the buyer wants us to clean the ovens. My wife was embarrassed Hahahaha
Ok, all we need to do is push the button that says “self clean”.....
makes me wanna leave a deuce in the toilet when we drive away.

I have a phone interview with a potential employer next week, gotta get all this lined up, closing is May 1.
The good news is we have a one week vacancy to move out after closing, but should only take us 2 or 3 days.
The biggest hassle will be moving 3 dogs, 2 cats, 4 chickens, and 4 finches 900 miles.
We gave the bees to a friend, they are doing well.
