Need coil cable repair hints -

    Hey everyone -

Open to suggestions on how to fix AT Pro cable (see pic) cheeper than 20.00 for a foot of shrink tape. I have mixed reviews of spliting a heat shrink tube and superglueing the edges. need waterproofed fix.

    Thank you!

Try Sugru. I used it for my Makro Racer 2's Pin Pointer switch when the rubber boot disappeared into oblivion. It's waterproof and stays where you put it.

Molewacker, I would recommend contacting Garrett, warranty or not that's a wear spot location that the copper wire will pull from when its been over worn. While the cable may be working, obviously its best to having all the necessary contact/cabling attaching to the coil.
Garrett is known for great customer service.
    Good Luck!

I've had good luck with Gorilla or Loktite 2 part epoxy adhesive.
