It was a Coyote Type Morning

I was out prospecting a few weeks ago when I saw this kitty track. It is a HUGE Bobcat.

I had just passed through the area an hour before, then on the way back saw this track in the snow. A few days later, while nowhere near me, I read where a woman in CT got attacked by a Bobcat.

I have never carried a gun in my life, but thought about it after seeing this Kitty Track.

I took a picture of my tracks on the way in, so that people could see, while only made an hour before, this Cat track was FRESH!

Yes, a woman was attacked, but the bobcat was rabid.

Although I have never experienced it myself, I have been told by a number of deer hunters that the coyotes here in CT are now drawn to the sound of gunshots in the woods, looking to steal a wounded deer. When a wounded deer isn't recovered the day was shot, there won't be much left the following morning, thanks to the coyotes. They have also become frequent garbage can raiders, even in the bigger cities. They are definitely survivors!
