We all know which end to use to brush your teeth.
But that is the wrong end for cleaning crusty artifacts.
Don't throw your old toothbrushes away.
While researching artifact cleaning I came across Andres cleaning tools:

They offer a fiberglass cleaning pencil and that got me to thinking hard plastic.
Toothbush handles are pretty hard plastic.
Bought these a couple years ago for my shop:

Put a bevel on 1 and cut the end off the other and beveled each point.
Use the uncut 1 for scrapping and the 2 points for detail.
Any toothbrush will work, they all have hard plastic handles.
Just put a bevel or a point on it, depending on you want to use it for.
