How to permanently embarrass yourself!

Sssooooo...I had surgery on the 17th. My daughter said knowing me, I would say something outrageous going under anesthesia.

Weeelll....I got the two week checkup and the surgeon revealed I asked the anesthesiologist to marry me as I started to go under.

Won't live that one down, ever. Ever. OMG.

I was 12 had to have a bone transplant, before going under they asked if there was any place Id like to go, me being 12 said "the nudie bar" I think watching ol Al Bundy had alot to do with that...lol

That's nothing Smokeythecat. I was once informed after surgery that I had woken up during the procedure and started talking. Having no recollection I asked- "what did I say?"

...And nobody would tell me. Not couldn't, would not tell me.

Smokeythecat, it could have been worse, you could have snapped to in a wedding chapel. Lol While coming out from under anethesia from a colonoscopy I asked my wife 3 different times when they were going to begin the procedure. All 3 times the answer was the same. They're done. Whut?

Anesthesiologist was very nice. Kinda hyper. Really high up the food chain at this hospital. The surgery itself went great, they were so nice. The barf 'n pukn came about 5 hours later when my stomach realized I had all these chemicals in me! Only lasted a minute though. Good experience all around, and I found out yesterday if I hadn't have had it done, I would not be posting anymore (ever) after sometime next year. As it is, you can't get rid of me now!

I had to go for Cardiac Cathorization in my 30's

they went in through my Groin.
& was awake for the Procedure.

I Have to watch how I word this, But I got an itch where it is Inappropriate to say,
But right on the End.

So I looked at the Pretty Nurse standing there & Asked her to Scratch it .

I Never seen anyone get so Red & everyone in the Room Burst.
Never did get that help

Every time I was put under a few days after I was home , the Anesthesiologist would Call,
Just to ask how I was. Must be allot of After effects possible that makes them So Curious.

No, I was totally out of it. Plus I assume he's married. I did send the surgeon and the anesthesiologist a floral arrangement two days later. Just because I can. We take these people for granted. I heard back from both, and they were in shock and awe!

No worries Smokey. You are a fixture here. Glad you had this done and behind you now. Now all you have to do is Rehab, get better, and get to swinging the coil again.
