Found along a old wagon trail along Route 115 in Brodheadsville, Pa.

Yes, that is an older style musket ball. They made them for hundreds of years and some folks still shoot black powder guns. The buckle appears to be mid 19th century due to those two little raised pieces in the middle. The key to your finds is the history of the immediate area and what else is found nearby.

Nice stuff. It's hard to find musket balls anymore.
