My daughter posted that earlier today, we have received a lot of rain this year and this summer. Just a little south of us had 17" of rain, the Direks Lake area and Direks community had about 4 feet of water flooding everything. The huge sawmill had vehicles, many trucks with water way over their hoods in the parking lot. The train tracks had a large section of nothing under them as it had all washed away. We seem to get around 5 inches a week here where I live, sometimes that in one rain. Gardens are rotting from all of the water and the grass and weeds are crazy to keep up with. It has seemed like it has rained everyday but we had a few days that it didn't rain. So, a sudden break and everyone is trying to do things while they can.
