Any that go bleep !!!!!
OK let us assume metal & lead etc was used from 1 bc (2000 years +) and history books were written from then till now, now let us know for a fact metal detectors have been in the public domain for aprox 40 years? that gives us 2000 years of opinion and endless digging with hands to write history, so now let us explore how much history has been discovered in the last 40 years but no one knew about? and how much history has been found but kept undercover for fear of losing it to treasure trove? so now i am thinking history is only just begining because of our hobby? just a thought no more ...........

Interesting way to think about it. More interesting when you think about how much technology in the MDs will improve over just the next few years....decades....etc.
