I have an M6 and feel it's great hunting parks, schools and other areas that are heavily trashed due to the quick recovery speed , tone id option along with a smaller coil.It's also no slouch on depth in low trash areas with larger coils and the groundtracking GB option.

Hi,I use a M6 on LI.Got it March and I really like.Very simple to operate and GB,Good depth,Pinpoints spot on,large selection of coils,picked mine up used for $350 with 9 months Warranty left.I'm ashamed to say,living on LI,I have not used the salt mode on the beach,but I will this winter.PM me if you have any questions.
