Does she have a good pin pointer?

Are there swimming holes locally frequented by the public? Maybe a small underwater hand held detector and snorkel gear. If she likes it, get ready for full blown scuba lessons and gear.

Any place to go magnet fishing? That can be fun, also frustrating when the magnet won't come back...

Does she like fossils/minerals, Check out local clubs for field trips.

There is still enough time, I could build her some Pink headphones.

That would be a great idea if I could get her to wear headphones but she refuses lol

Does she have a "safari" vest? Lot's of pockets, and she'll look like an explorer. I don't recommend prissy pink versions of the real thing. Just get the real thing. And get the Women's vest, not the kid's.

I spent time as a kid looking for places to dig bottles..parents gave me "The Vanishing American Outhouse". Lots of interesting history in that book. High end reference books are useful. Heck even western novels are fun to read. I bought my daughter a nearly complete set of Zane Grey books. I sure enjoy reading them.

If she is into history..maybe consider an antique of some sort that she will likely keep forever.
Something much better than she could expect to dig...An old lantern..coffee grinder...porcelain sign...IDK

Might I recommend a good pinpointer or an Excaliber shovel or E-Tool for digging.

Perhaps one of these; a pin pointer, good digging tool, field shovel or boots for muddy fields. :icon_thumleft:
