Garrett Pin pointer revelation

Now, I might be the only one on this site that didn't know this, but thought I'd share anyways.
While hunting some wet muddy low tide area here on the coast, I mentioned to my hunting
partner that my pin pointer was worthless here. It would sound off where ever I touched with
it. He asked if I had ground balanced it? Of course I said "what?". He then told me to turn on
the pin pointer while pressing the tip on the ground. It worked! I never knew that. I don't know
if it works on other brands or not.

You can also press the button near the target and it will focus more exactly there are lots of settings on those like a detector

I gotta read it too!!!!! sometimes my light will stay on and I cant turn it off or it switches from beeping to vibrate lol

I found out hitting the button twice and cussing until I realized I'd done something actually useful.
