ORX
Not much of a beach fan but after a pretty decent storm I figured why not give it a go. Plus I wanted to see how my ORX handled the salt. Tides weren’t in my favor so I wasn’t able to get very close to where the most significant erosion took place. Pretty much right away I was finding typical beach stuff, clad, pull tabs and modern trash. As time went on and the tide receded I was to get where I really to be. Started get some deep targets and soon was finding some older coins. Couple mercs, buffalo nickel and wheats. I also found a coin that I originally thought was a silver quarter but quickly realized it was too thin. This coin is pretty toasted but I can see a little detail and looking for advice on how I might clean it up enough to identify it.
Appreciate any help

Without an identified coin, you can file the edge a tiny bit and see what’s underneath it. Also I just rub it with moist salt really hard rub rub rub rub rub

I can sorta see a vague outline of this coin.

Do these dimensions seem right?

29.72mm (11.80 grams) 0.800 Silver
