I know Cook County Forest Preserves are off limits, and have been for about 5 years (maybe a little longer) now.

Of course they are. Thanks for the info.

One more reason to leave Illinois for Az. Next year or the year after.

Hi Dan,
Argon May have its own rules as a Fed Govt run institution. They are jumpy. Be carful.
But if you put a dupage hunt together I’m in.

My mothers family is from Naperville from way back in the 1800's. One of my uncles was the chief of police. The family farm is now the McDonald farm conservation foundation....the woods across the street were part of the original 240 acres and the "last Indian in Illinois" was buried there. Those woods along the DuPage are FULL of indian burials. When you walk through them, if you know what to look for, they are easy to spot. I know you cannot dig there, but the few remaining farm fields are still producing points. My mother had a literal cigar box full of them found only in their fields.
