Very nice old tag. Dog tags can be very collectible, and like anything else, its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. There are many collectors of Dog Tags, so if you listed it publicly you may get a bidding wars started and pull a nice price for it. Otherwise, if I saw your tag in a garage sale with a price tag of $3.00 - $4.00 on it, I would probably buy it just because it's vintage. I have found over 50 dog tags, but my oldest is only a 1924. They do display very nicely in a case.

my oldest is 1919 found in 2019. not enough value to tempt me into selling. I have a sandwich bag full of old tags..

WOW ~ I am just seeing this thread for the first time! Dog tags are my favorite!

My old eyes are having a hard time making out the details of that 1919 tag. What city is it from?
