Nox is not gonna be any more accurate at target ID. King, I don't think there is a detector out there that won't get fooled sometimes. The Minelab CTX and Etrac and maybe the Deus give the most target info but they still get fooled sometimes. I have a friend who is an ace with his ATP, and he seldom gets fooled but it does happen to anybody with any machine. Those who learn their machines the best get fooled the least as they have really learned to interpret what the machine is telling them. If you are referring to VID, most who really know their machines listen to the sound more than look at the screen and the sounds will tell you much more about a target than any screen.
